Qualifications:

• Engineering Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from an approved institution
• Minimum of five years of verifiable drafting experience on infrastructure projects.
• Experience with computer-aided drafting software, such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD, is required. Experience with Revit Structural is preferred.
• Must be fluent in both written and spoken English, with excellent oral and written communication skills; computer skills and the ability to use design tools are required.

Responsibilities:

• Using a CAD workstation, creates engineering drawings using rough sketches and/or general engineering and design information, including basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, and so on.
• Uses technical guides and guidelines to assure code and corporate policy compliance.
• Learns about numerous standards and codes such as ANSI, PFI, and ASME.
• Compiles data and conducts dimensions and routine computations needed for drawing preparation.
• Knows how to read orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) designs, as well as supplier/manufacturer drawings.
• Other duties related with this role may be assigned as needed.
