Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in civil or transportation engineering from a reputable college is required.
• Minimum of 4+ years of roadway design expertise with extensive understanding of Highway Design Software
• Working understanding of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and civil 3D is required.
• Ability to use computer technology to access data, keep records, make reports, and so on, as well as any project-specific engineering and construction software.
• Good written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with project team members are required.
• Excellent knowledge of Civil 3D is essential.

                                                                

                                                                               

Responsibilities:

• Develops and/or controls the creation of engineering products that fulfill client quality criteria independently. This comprises defining the problem, determining the scope of the work, developing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting on the state of the work.
• Detail calculations, drawings, procurement documentation, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and comprehensive analyses are examples of typical goods.
• As needed, provides assistance with other engineering duties.
• May be in charge of one or more subordinates and provide feedback on their performance.
• You could be assigned to a project or organizational team, or you could be the lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to medium-sized project.
• Contributes ideas and technical direction to CAD Designers/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
• As appropriate, additional tasks connected to this role may be assigned.
