What is the Process of Curing of Pile Foundation?

In construction the word curing is very important its mean whenever fresh concrete pouring done then after setting curing should be started to avoid evaporation.

Wind and solar heat are the two main reason for evaporation, if the evaporation not properly controlled cracks will appear in concrete which may cause defects in the concrete.

But in pile foundation case is different, in pile conventional procedures are not used for curing. In simple word pile foundation concrete cannot be cured because it is self-curing process.

Pile foundation is typically used in areas with clayey soil and marshy terrain.

The entire length and mass of piling foundation is under the earth surface. The moisture present in cohesive soils and clay do the curing.

The Pile is totally below ground level, which shields it from the sun's rays and the wind without even trying. As a result, less water is lost from the concrete.
