Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering (or a related discipline) and 8+ years of related job experience are required.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer may be necessary.
• It is necessary to be proficient in the use of CAD and other PC software products commonly connected with engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Performs complicated technical jobs, as well as critical engineering work, efficiently and accurately.
• Engineering data is extracted from CAD drawings. Engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimations, surveys, and designs are all prepared.
• Completes a wide range of assignments, including drawings, specifications, and other items suitable for procurement and construction.
• Interacts frequently with other engineering disciplines as well as other departments.
• Prepares thorough equipment and material requisitions.
• Analyzes technical bids and reviews supplier drawing submittals.
• Specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents are prepared and issued.
• Gives technical advice to CAD Designers/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
• It may be necessary to present the professional engineer's seal and signature, as appropriate, to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.
• Engineers may be asked to advise senior management on engineering-related issues.
• Other responsibilities related to this function may be assigned as needed.
